ClayBreak ("the app") is operated by the ClayBreak team. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
Data We Collect
- Name: Your display name, used to personalize your experience within the app.
- Email Address: Used to create and authenticate your account.
- User ID: A unique identifier assigned to your account to store and retrieve your data securely.
- Round Data & Notes: Scores, station results, weather, choke, and notes you enter — stored to power your history and coaching insights.
- Coarse Location: Used only when you search for nearby shooting ranges. Your location is never stored.
- Feedback: Messages you submit through the in-app feedback form, including your name and email.
- Purchase History: Your subscription status, used to unlock Pro features.
How We Use Your Data
All data is used solely to operate and improve the app. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as necessary to operate the app:
- Google Firebase — authentication and cloud data storage
- Apple StoreKit — subscription management
- Anthropic Claude API — AI coaching responses (only triggered when you use the Field Assistant with your own API key)
Data Retention
Your data is stored as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.
Children's Privacy
ClayBreak is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us below.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
